I took T. to martial arts. In a freak coincidence, because we leave for the trip Sunday afternoon, and the dojo is closed next Saturday, and we return the Friday afternoon after that, T. will actually not miss any of his lessons as a result of this trip. So cool! This never happens.
After martial arts, we went to Vics. I am sort of sad that I will not be back here for a couple weeks. It is a great part of my routine.
Tomorrow is the last day that Julie’s Place is open. There is a party after the close, which we probably will not be able to attend as we will be getting ready to leave for our trip to Europe. I am sad about all of it. We did get one last meal there, and I gave contact information to people so hopefully I will see them again.
The B. children’s birthday party is this afternoon. We had lots of fun, altho it did pour down rain at one point. No pool, but a slip and slide and water balloons. A. reminded me to bring her swimsuit. The only downer was she got some soap in her eyes from the slip and slide. Note to self: discourage letting the kids put the soap in the slip and slide. They use wayyyyy too much and then they are cranky because their eyes hurt.
