The kids had regular school days.
I got a walk with M. in the morning.
R. and I went to Little Pusan for lunch. The bi bim bap was awesome.
We finally ran the Zapp Oven. Seems to work just fine. People who struggled with it coming up to temperature may have been trying to run it in a room that was too cold; the owners manual is clear that ambient temperature needs to be 70.
The encasements and traps for T.’s bed arrived, however, we did not get around to deploying them.
A. went to movie night at her school and watched The Lion King.
I took T. to the train and then North Station. We had dinner at Boston Beer Works. I had the fun size burger minus the Russian dressing. The bun is apparently milk free, unlike the bun for the steamed pork belly buns. Weird. I’ve run across this before, however. T. had the kids nachos and a side of fries. The Woodworks is no longer on the menu. They have possibly the worst side car I have ever had. It is served on the rocks, no simple syrup, no sugared rim, with a straw. So: brandy, triple sec, lemon juice and a couple of crap cherries. Ugh. I did drink it. Their old fashioned with pecan simply syrup is really good, however.
The concert was good, and we got all the way to the last song in the encore, left in the last few seconds and jogged down to make the 10:40. Woot! Way better than waiting for the 12:10.
