I got to walk with M. this morning. I also had my usual noon call with K. My son was home all day because they don't want him back at school for 24 hours after vomiting. Fortunately, he didn't throw up again after yesterday afternoon, so it is looking good for him being at school tomorrow.

I had watched Friday's TRMS over the weekend, and there doesn't seem to be a recording of NCIS:LA from the weekend (should make sure that was a no episode thing, and not a no recording of episode thing), so I didn't have any TV lined up to watch. This prompted me to actually watch the first episode of Black Lightning. There was enough young woman / women in jeopardy to kinda stress me out. Other than that, it is a well produced, well acted, beautifully cast show. I'll probably watch a few more episodes before deciding whether to proceed, because the woman / women in jeopardy situation is the setup for special powers developing, so I sort of want to see where that goes.

A. is young enough for Valentine's at school to be a pretty big deal; we had already bought all the stuff at the dollar store. But she needed to sign the cards (the teacher does not want them addressed) and we had to set up all the random crap in the little baggies, too (eraser, stamper, ring). Also, we had to come up with a Valentine's mailbox for her to receive her goodies / cards in. I went through the pile of boxes in the garage that we have been keeping for returns / mailing stuff in, and picked one out that seemed big enough but not ludicrously huge. I taped some blank paper around it, and decorated the ends where the paper didn't cover and was taped. I handed A. a bunch of pink and red markers and suggested she decorate the sides. She had fun with that. It was craft night, apparently.

I ran Roomba (apparently, R. named our Roomba Jenkins, which I sort of knew, but haven't been calling Roomba that, so, herewith, Roomba will now be referred to as Jenkins. Eufy is probably going to be Alice). I cleaned the downstairs lav. I vacuumed my car. I cleaned counters and the stove top.

T. had crackers and an english muffin for lunch and it stayed down. He decided to go to bed early and skip dinner, but seems otherwise okay -- he's just finally really taking seriously the idea of Extra Rest Helps Heal.

ETA: Oh, and the first round of Mighty Fix that I paid for (the first year was a gift from a friend) arrived today: three silicone lids by Lakue. These seem useful.

I also pulled T.'s old phone (a 5C) out of a box of random electronics. Someone decided that since there was a chip out of the corner of the screen, it couldn't be recycled. I'm like, let's call that ordinary wear and tear (it is on the bezel, not the part of the screen you touch) and see what happens.
