Thursday's Activities Include: A.'s half day, vision therapy, Julie's Place

I have a nice conversation with J. It has been a while.

I took A. to vision therapy after she got home from her half day. She wasn't interested in food, so we just went, and then after, we went to Julie's Place. We talked about our plans for next holiday season. We've had this conversation with various people several times over several months, without coming to any real decision. We were slowly orbiting the idea of maybe going to the Caribbean or something like that. With a couple really strong rye manhattans (thank you, B.! She orders the rye for Julie's Place just for me. What a sweetheart, and what a lovely local place), A. and I started looking around Disney Cruise Line, and I decided you know, I can just take dramamine for the duration of the cruise and not look at screens or books. No Big Deal. I can stare at the ocean. Honestly, that seems like it would be calm and refreshing (sure, you can think I can't do that, but that just means it has been so long that I did that, that no one but me remembers any more that I used to actually like doing that).

Now there will be much research into things like onboard kids activities and Castaway Cay and so forth. Also, Kennedy Space Center.
