Friday’s Activities Include: phone call with K., lunch at Battle Road, relatives arrive

I had a lovely phone call with K. Both kids had a full day of school. Traffic everywhere was light; a lot of people had already left town. R. and I had lunch at Battle Road. And I got updates through the day as family arrived at their gate at the airport (in one case) and drove north up the east coast (in the other case).

Nice, mellow day before the madness begins.
