Saturday's Activities Include: driving home

We left LBI around 10 a.m. We had no trouble packing up. We said goodbye to the extended family which had not already departed, ate some breakfast and headed out. We stopped at Vince Lombardi and had lunch at the BK, which did not go well because it has some horrible grab and go layout and they just can't produce items other than what they have on the grab and go. So the kids couldn't seem to get a kids meal. We had trouble getting whoppers without cheese.

No trouble to speak of with GWB, but once in Connect the Dots, the delays began anew. We stopped at a McDonald's to get A. a happy meal because she really hated the Cheetos Chicken Fries she had at the BK. T. didn't mind the regular Chicken Fries, but he didn't care for the Cheetos Chicken fries either.

We got home around 6 p.m. and I fed the kids dinner while R. and I unpacked. We got some laundry done. We all went to bed at a more or less normal time and were happy to do so.
