Friday's Activities Include: leftovers, hanging out

Friday was pretty quiet. We ate a lot of leftovers. Some of the family (not including us) went out to Buckalew's for dinner, because they had had Enough Turkey and wanted to eat something else.

Lots of great conversations with family. Nice to have lots of time to catch up. I'm super excited that my niece is having such a great time with the college application process, enjoying interviews and things like that. She's a really friendly, smart, easy to get along with young person who is excited about science and I know she'll have a great time wherever she decides to go. We were bummed she had to leave early today so we didn't get to spend more time with her, but I am so excited for her future.
