Tuesday: Cambridge

I. and I drove to One Kendall Square and parked on the purple level / 6 / chromosome. Very nice system in terms of helping you remember where you parked!
We walked to Donut Villa Diner, which was delightful. The coffee was delicious and very hot. The vegan donuts (blueberry lemon, and chocolate frosted) were also delicious. In addition to the two we shared, I bought two more To Go.
We walked to Koreana, where I had a beef dumpling soup with sliced rice cake in the soup. Seriously awesome.
We walked to Lamplighter. They have 6 ounce as an option at Lamplighter. I had a (little light) fruited sour and a dark beer which I have forgotten (blitzen — belgian dark ale). I. had a Krolsch (speedwagon) and helles lager (giants under the sun). We had a four pour flight at Cambridge Brewing — a trippel, a sour, a gruit and a porter. I also had the spring salad. It was really tasty.
And then we drove home and had stew for dinner with naan. That was really awesome as well.
I feel like we are doing some kind of slo mo Massachusetts beer tour. Tomorrow is TreeHouse.
I saw Lord Hobo on the drive out, and went, d’oh, I don’t even know what that is, and it turned out to be a taproom. However, it’s almost exclusively IPAs in there right now and neither of us feels like it, so we’re good not realizing that was an option.
