Thursday: A Very Quiet Day

walkitoutI caught up on TV — watched the most recent Equalizer and two nights of TRMS. Later I watched tonight’s TRMS. I also watched a webcast through Morgan Stanley of Condoleeza Rice talking about more or less what you would expect her to be talking about. It was nice to both learn some new things, and also to get confirmation of things I have suspected might be the case.
I cooked the rest of the package of ground beef (I used some to make sloppy joes for myself) with some taco seasoning. I put together my own, because it needed to be garlic / onion / etc. free. It turned out good, altho we were wondering if I’d put too much chipotle in (I didn’t).
I spent some time sorting through the accumulated extra lego, and putting it away in the flat file.
M came for a visit, but we did not walk. It had stopped raining by the afternoon, and was just drizzle, but it was miserably damp and cold. T. had his buddies outing at Yoga in West Acton and requested a pickup and ride over. R. took the waste out, picked up A, then T, dropped him at Yoga and then took A to west side creamery for ice cream. She was pretty happy. It’s nice to get a special treat once in a while. No sitter today.
