Wednesday: Magic Kingdom, no reservations

walkitoutA. and I got a snack at Lunching Pad which apparently opened at 10, but we set up a mobile order at around 940, nailed a table down at 945, and then people started showing up a few minutes later. Crazy line developed, got the purple screen (order ready for pickup) after 10, went to pick it up, line of other people waiting to pick up most with purple screen (not all). It was just a churro, a pretzel and a coke. Bonkers. We did eventually get it, and we got to sit for a bit which was nice.
We had done Space Mountain once on entry, and we had a lightning lane for it later also. We also got a Peter Pan lightning lane (I don’t recall any more what we paid for and what we didn’t, so I can’t really share that now, posting this backdated 5 days later and uninterested in digging through to figure it all out). We did Buzz, and Carousel of Progress (A. requested it specifically). We also did Hall of Presidents (my idea). Minor cheer for Carter, one person spoke up and was shushed for He Who Isn’t Going to Be Named Here. We also saw Philharmagic, so we got to see the new Coco sequence in it; we had not done the show in December because I didn’t realize until I was watching the Coco sequence that there was an addition. Fun!
We had lunch at Cosmic Ray’s, mobile order.
We had been getting a ride from R in the morning, Disney transportation home. Today, I managed to make yesterday’s plan work: we caught a bus to Riviera, and then explored the lobby, got a coffee and a water, and rode the Skyliner to the Epcot plaza, and walked back to our room at Beach Club. Fun ride!
I ate dinner in the room; R and A went out to Beaches and Cream for dessert. I think they got takeout at the Marketplace at Beach Club.
