Friday: Snow Day

Yesterday, T. was asking a bunch whether we’d gotten a notification of a Snow Day for Friday. He kept us up to date on cancellations in nearby towns. He came and told me when it finally happened, which was great. I turned off my alarm and went back to sleep.
Of course, Snow Day means I don’t get my alone time for the day, going into the weekend, so that’s kind of dodgy. Also, because it was a Snow Day, and actually it was a freezing rain day, T. also did not get to go out for lunch or dinner because it was remarkably gross outside and quite unsafe. I cooked the steak I had thawed so he could have a steak sandwich; that went really well. There is still 2/3rds of the steak left for future meals. He ultimately canceled out of going to Via Lago; it really was remarkably awful and still coming down until late into the evening.
I did FF; that was nice.
I had A. do 15 minutes each on her ongoing projects in social studies and English. She was not overjoyed about that but did acknowledge it was a good idea, and less than what she would normally have to do on a school day. I also had her check google classroom to see if there was any new homework; she says not.
I had a nice long chat with K.; also, very nice.
