Wednesday: date night

We had dinner at Woods Hill Table. They were out of the smoked duck wings, so I got the duck leg confit. It was really good.
I had a delightful long phone call with J.
I had a delightful zoom with I. Unexpectedly, L., who I had mentioned in a convo a week or so ago and who I. had not been in touch with for a couple of years, texted her yesterday! Apparently she was involved in the group that had to figure out that horrible AWS outage, and had some tales of understaffing that were pretty freaking epic (not intentional — apparently it’s hard to hire engineers These Days).
After a concert one night and a dinner out with a several hours of zoom / phone socializing, a day of just hanging out is sounding really nice.
