I sent out the T-day zoom open house invites. If you did not receive on, and if you want to participate, DM me, call me — whatever.
It is always nice sending out a ton of invitations, and since the spring, I really have not done that. OK, since longer than the spring. Sending out invites means you interact with people you like, and that is awesome. It’ll be even nicer seeing so many people over the course of tomorrow, which will hopefully be the beginning of a new tradition. I will never live in the same place as all of my friends, and even if I did, they would still have other commitments. But zoom can mitigate those commitments, so if I did a zoom party a couple times a year and got to see a lot of my friends more or less at once, my life would be measurably better. No time better than now to start that tradition!
I will be heading out on a walk with M. shortly.
T. is out with the sitter, who will take him to his swim lesson.
The Imperfect Foods order arrived, which is exciting, because it contained a variety of things for tomorrow (and some for today as well).
J. stopped by and brought me flowers. Very sweet of her! She is signed up for a virtual 5K and needs to actually do it, so she may join me on the long walk one of these days. That plus a half mile should get it done for her.
ETA: Also, if you have been puzzled by the elevation of the stock market over the last little while, just remember that going into a holiday week such as this one, trading volume tends to be LOW and thus volatility tends to be HIGH.
