Tuesday: Another Day at the Cape

walkitoutToday, I did not go swimming (everyone else did); I had the last webex meeting with Caron inpatient folks. I now know what the cost will be on the next phase, which is good.
We got dinner at Wicked. The kids had dinner from there last night, when I cooked the hot italian sausage with veg and pasta for R. and me. I ordered a pizza; I really need to NOT get vegan cheese. It is unsatisfying. The crust was great, and I think I would have loved the pizza without the vegan cheese. Also, it is very filling, so there is 2/3rds of a pizza left. *shrug* I can reheat it for lunch and then reassess whether I want to finish it or not.
I also got 2 of the vegan chocolate tart. THAT was awesome and I am glad I got two, so I could have the other one tomorrow.
I had a delightful, if calm and quiet, phone call with J.
My phone call with K. was pre-empted by her reporting a swan poaching to fish & game; they came by and wanted to see the sight lines and so forth.
