Monday: remote schooling from the Cape

T.’s sleeping area is sort of a den off the living room; there is an accordion door and it is surprisingly sound isolated, all things considered. A. is set up at the kitchen table, since T.’s area has the only desk and he is using it. R. set the piano up in his room. So far, other than not being able to heat water up while A. is on zoom (both the tea kettle on the electric stove and the fan on the microwave make too much noise for her to hear her teacher), things are going pretty well.
R. went to the Roche Bros (a couple miles away, so super convenient) to get some things I forgot: english muffins, jam, kitchen gloves and sponge. We were out of milk and OJ at home anyway, so that, and a couple other things. He tried to make pancakes and I think he made the batter too thick and then did not get the pan hot enough. *shrug* He bought some eggo waffles so that will be easier.
We have another swim reservation at 3:15, so we’ll be heading over there pronto after A. is done with school. There is a changing area, so we will probably wear clothes down and change there before and after. I had not been sure if there would be one or not.
