Wednesday: finished mos eisley, walk
Oct. 28th, 2020 11:00 pmI had a visit with M., but no walk — she does not care to walk after it is rainy and wet.
I did the 3 mile loop by myself later on.
I had to block another person on this blog. This one was weird, tho — I think it was a Russian troll. Hard to believe a blog as boring as this would attract that kind of attention, but maybe they have nothing better to do. The comments on yesterdays post were beyond odd — niggling about a suggestion to define “undue hardship” for handling student loan debt in bankruptcy when in the same post I was proposing to increase the number in the House to about a thousand, and the number on the Supreme Court to 13 (or more), and to wildly reshape the federal districts and add more with nationwide jurisdiction to specialize in certain types of cases. Immediately went to pointless generalities, which once upon a time _maybe_ I would have just assumed was an online idiot being an online idiot, but of course these days, you wonder, because that is a lot less common now. The IP address was in Quebec, but for a company that closed down up there; the user who posted has a cyrillic name and seems to also post similar nonsense over on Reddit (prepper / gun / politics / statistics / lies about covid). So I am thinking a part of a brigade and just marveling at the idea that I was even noticed. Wild.
Anyway. Next up is the Lego Treehouse, which I am pretty excited about. There is a zoom meeting tomorrow morning, so I rescheduled my haircut and color to Friday. Piano lessons were today, and next Wednesday does not work, so we are going to do Tuesday. Phone calls yesterday wanted to know if I still wanted to do Tuesday next week for phone calls and I was like, hell yeah, I’ll need the sanity.
Stay safe out there — lots of places having lots of transmission, which is a bummer, so I guess we all need to hunker down and keep our distance. Say hi to your neighbors from a safe distance while out for a walk I guess.
