walkitoutIt is mid 70s and super pleasant. There is a strong breeze. We opened all the windows and put shorts on. I am thinking we should go have dinner somewhere on a patio, just because.
Martial arts was canceled because the instructor is off at his cousins’ farm helping with pumpkin stuff.
We finished the taxes! I am very excited. I overshot on the federal and undershot on the state. Oh well! They’ll take my money and let me know how much more for interest or whatever.
Someone mentioned a new Kate Elliott book on twitter, and that got me thinking about Kate Elliott and, more importantly, the series she wrote before writing as Kate Elliott (Highroad trilogy as Alis A. Rasmussen, easily available now under Kate Elliott’s name). I have not thought about that series in a long time, so I did a little poking around at reviews to see how it aged. Might be worth a reread to see what I think of it — I read it some time in the 1990s.
