Sunday: Happy Mother’s Day!

walkitoutI know better than to go to a restaurant on Mother’s Day. One year, I tried to go and the restaurant caught on fire.
We had a mellow day. I continued working on the Lego Disney Castle.
I decided to drive over to Lexington and driveway socially distance visit A. T. came with me; we went after the family zoom with MIL. He wanted to stop at Benjarong and get dinner; I was like, yeah, sure. 40 minute wait for food. Yikes.
I gave up and left him there at an hour and a half to go home. Of course, once there he called and I had to go get him because the food finally arrived. I was kind of hungry before I event went to Lexington. I really should know better than to go to a restaurant on Mother’s Day. Even for takeout at 6 pm.
Anyway. The Lego Disney Castle is lots of fun. I had a nice walk with M. I messaged a lot of my favorite moms greetings on Mother’s Day and thus had lots of very pleasant text exchanges. I will try to remember to do this in future years — it feels very nice.
