When we got in, A. wanted to go to Toon Town. It did not open until 9, so we rode the canal boats, then we did the Toon Town Spin, then we did the gadget go coaster and a walk through Donald’s boat. After that, we walked through FantasyLand and did Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and then got on the Mark Twain because it was there, and we could sit down in the shade. We got a FastPass for the Matterhorn and A. liked that. We did a repeat of it on a later day.
Lunch was at Cafe Orleans. It was tasty. A. and I went back to the hotel to rest. We caught an Uber (weird pickup location chosen, and I have not done this often enough to know how to change it. We got K. and would see him again on a later day. Very nice man) back to the parks for dinner and ran a little late.
Dinner was at Lamplight Lounge in DCA. Lots of fun, altho starting to feel under the weather. I had a couple park aves, and a spinach salad with mushroom “bacon”. It was one of those salads where your plate is still covered long after you have lost interest in continuing.
After dinner, the FastPass for Goofys Fly School was converted (that ride never runs when I have a fast pass for it), so A. and I went over to Guardians. R. had met us after his bike ride, and the cast member was very kind and let him in with us. Awesome, awesome, awesome ride. Steppenwolf Born to be Wild makes it a whole different and much better ride experience, and of course the show screens and theming is awesome.
One of my most efficient touring days with A.
