walkitoutBoth kids are at school today. I should not have let T. ride his bike, but I was not fully awake and thinking about cold (25 degrees F) dry air and his cough when he asked me. Ooops.
He also went out with the sitter in the evening. Last day of the meds; tomorrow we get to find out what things are like without the meds. Fingers crossed.
Book group selection was a collection of Louisa May Alcott Christmas themed stores; I read about half of it. It was interesting — one can definitely see where Hallmark channel taste flows from. Small group, but really nice conversation.
On the way to book group, I picked up more girl scout cookies from a friend, because the kids ate the first batch really fast. I ordered double.
I also went grocery shopping, picked up a 4 pound chicken and roasted it before I picked up A. from school, and made butternut squash soup (and chicken neck broth, but that is less relevant). With cole slaw and a blueberry muffin, it made a tasty dinner.
