Sunday: race weekend, rain

I took T. to Franklin Park Playstead to run the boys 11-14 cross country race. He had fun. I met a nice woman whose son was running. It was raining and I think I should try to get T. cleats or spikes or whatever because slipping is terrible and if you are worried about slipping than there is a real chance you just will not go very fast.
We stopped at Papa Razzi for lunch.
I drove T. over to his friend J.’s house. They played ping pong, then went bowling and then to a different Italian restaurant in Concord for dinner. I did not participate; I chatted with the mom for a while (I really like her) and then went home. They dropped him off. Nice family, I hope we see more of them.
A. is running a fever, so she will not be going to school tomorrow. I thought she was better! But then, we have all thought we were better with whatever the hell this thing is that is going around.
