Thursday: No babysitter, NYAJ

walkitoutA. had her swim lesson, but T.'s track was canceled due to weather, altho at least in Acton, the weather never happened. Perhaps it happened elsewhere.
Anyway. Lesson went well. I had the bright idea to wash her hair after, so we do not have to have her do that separately at home. It did take a little longer, however, she is back to a half hour lesson this week so no big deal. I tried to have the sitter take her or meet us there, but it did not work out. The sitter will not let kids eat in her car, fair, but A. has no lunch on half day and it is too long to wait until after swimming to eat. And, as noted, I wanted to wash her hair. I could not really ask the sitter to do that (well, I know what the answer would be for sure! Nothing good would come of it). The sitter understandably did not want to fight traffic to and from Lexington at that hour. So. No sitter.
Good news, tho! T. got all logged into things, and I was available to help him trouble shoot problems as they arose. Yay!
We all went out to dinner at NYAJ at around 5 pm. R. met us there. It was very pleasant.
