Monday: walking!
Sep. 9th, 2019 11:00 pmI walked with J.
I walked with M.
I walked to pick up A., and walked her home.
Dutch was canceled; I miss my friend! But hopefully next week that routine will start ticking along again.
I confirmed that we have scheduled piano lessons, and we are a step closer to possible swimming lessons (basically, we are a maybe for A., and I have T. waitlisted at Atkinson and a swim group lined up for him to try a week from Wednesday).
I ran the Eufy in the upstairs hall and did laundry.
I had a nice convo with the lawyer BIL. I am experiencing one of those amazing periods of time when family drama results in better relationships throughout the family. I had watched movies with that as a plot element. I had certainly read a lot of books with that as a plot element. But this is the first time I have straight up experienced it. It is hard to say it is delightful, given the motivating forces ... but it is.
My retirement is now old enough to go out and legally get shitfaced. Fortunately, I never have to worry about my retirement actually doing that, or, worse, driving afterwards.
