Departure Day

walkitoutWe packed up. A. had cereal and I had PB&J on a bagel and a cup of tea. R. and T. took the bags out to the van while A. and I went to the parks. They hung out in the lobby. T. had pizza for lunch at one of the resort restaurants.
We started in Universal Studios: Minions, Transformers, Simpsons, MIB. Then we took the train over so A. could do Forbidden Journey. We got popcorn outside MIB. We got a gilly water, an apple, some potato chips and a bag of grapes. We didn’t have lunch per se until we got to the airport. She rode Forbidden Journey 3x and I walked thru with her. After round 3, they were offering to let her circle even shorter, and run thru the wheelchair door to ride again. We did not pick up photos.
We took the boat back to the hotel. R. met us and we went to the lobby and met T. We went to the garage and drove to the gas station to refill the tank. At the airport, we repacked. T.’s scooter bag had a broken handle that would not go up or down, so we checked a 4th bag. I unloaded the park bag from C. and then packed the bag itself into my checked bag.
We checked the four bags and then went to get lunch at McDonald’s because A. and I never had lunch. T. got more food, too. After lunch, we went through security. I emptied the spritzer first; Roland had already emptied and cleaned the bubble wand from Pandora at AK.
We got to the gate. A. had hiccups so we bought a bottle of water. I mistakenly packed the plastic flasks in my checked bag. I also forgot to switch to my Propet shoes. Oh well!
It’s good to be home!
