walkitoutI had a nice walk with M.
A. and I went to Di Capri’s and got a pizza for T.’s lunch; we forgot to pack a lunch this morning, because we were busy singing songs for homework for his Bye Bye Birdie day camp in the afternoon, and ordering a birthday cake from Wegman’s for his birthday party this weekend. We forgot last night, because of restaurant outings to 110 Grille (wings are dairy free!) and the Old Schoolhouse (excellent food, cheap, powerful and tasty caparinha) and a phone call with K.
After delivering the pizza, A. and I went to Carver Hill in Stow to U Pick some blueberries. We would normally have gone to Honey Pot Hill, but R. said Carver Hill would be quieter and at least as nice. He was right! I also bought some peaches, eggs, Asian eggplant, a summer squash and a zucchini. Under $20 for all of it and I think I can put off the grocery run a few more days now.
ETA: Since I didn’t post a Tuesday’s Activities post, I’ll add here that A. has been having a pretty amazing No Day Camp week of summer. On Tuesday, she went and played at a splash pad and pool for a few hours and also went to Concord Teacakes, followed by dinner at 110 Grille. Today, she got to go to U Pick. I wonder what the rest of the week will bring! These were all fairly spontaneous outings. (Sitter took her to the splash pad while I picked up T. and took him to his day camp.)
