walkitoutBecause T. was still vomiting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, he could not go to school on Monday. His sitter (wisely) opted to take the day off as well, so I had the kids to myself today (T. all day and both after A. got home).
I had ordered a large fabric bag with a zipper from amazon. It's intended to be stuffie storage and a bean bag like chair. Basically, fill it with stuffies and then sit on it. I got the "medium" of "medium" or "large", of course in pink, because it is for A. I filled it, and there are still an awful lot of stuffies, so I'm thinking there will be another stealth stuffie purge at some point. But I took the toddler rocking chair from R.'s childhood out of her room and put the resulting bean bag in there, and started transferring doll accessories to the now somewhat more empty shelving. There is more of that to do.
I had a walk with M.
I had a chat with K. It was a little abbreviated, because I had a headache. I took a nap after lunch. Not sure if this is a cycle headache, or because I had mezcal last night, or if it was because I had a lot less caffeine on Sunday than I normally do (probably that last one). But in case it was the mezcal, I switched back to a manhattan tonight and will return to the rosy drink tomorrow for further experimentation.
T. brought some books down that he no longer wants (a couple are paper gazetteers for NH and MA that he had taken from me when I was getting rid of them).
I also communicated with the vision therapist (we are taking a break), the swim instructor (when is this week's swim lesson, and when will the next block of lessons have an assigned time), the dojo (kids night out) and the sitter (about the swim lesson and the kids night out).
Apparently that was a busier day than I realized. I also did some Spanish in Duolingo, and put together a grocery list so T. and I can get groceries after the swim lesson, since there might be a winter storm on Wednesday.
