walkitoutI got some laundry and cleaning done, and some minor tasks associated with the trip (went through the hold mail which arrived today, did some things to make packing for our next Disney trip a little easier, did other travel planning related tasks for the next Disney trip and other trips). I removed the Halloween runner from the front hall chest and set up a T-weekend / fall display.
I also had a really nice phone conversation with K. I read her the letter from my sister (the one I like the very least) — it was really nice being able to do that right when I opened it. She’s a supportive friend in every way.
I also talked to one of my brother-in-laws (brothers in law?) so that I would not inadvertently say or do anything unhelpful over T-weekend. I probably still _will_ be awkward and annoying, but you never know; preparation can make a difference.
