walkitoutI’ll backdate the catchup entries, as is my usual policy (so that the entry is dated the day of the events described within, not the date I posted it. This helps me a lot if I need to reconstruct what happened when).
We had a great trip, with some minor hiccups. There was a little family drama not initiated by anyone on the trip (but impacting on people on the trip), on both sides of the family. I don’t know that I would blame or even very much resent any of the drama, but it is a really sharp reminder that life does not actually stop when one is on vacation, as much as one might want it to.
