walkitoutBoth kids went to the horse today. T. and I had lunch at Applebee's. Then we stopped at CVS on the way home, where T. bought some things for himself with his own money. We had the T. family over for a playdate in the evening. T. wanted pizza for dinner, from Sorrento's, and he decided he wanted to pay for it. He has been accumulating cash from birthdays and similar, and apparently he has decided that he is Old Enough to buy things for himself.
I had a very clumsy day, alas, dropping my iPad on 3 separate occasions, cracking the screen the third time. Unhappiness. I made a genius bar appointment to get it fixed, but what with one thing and another, that won't happen for a week. It isn't bad, and is very usable in the meantime, but I'm peeved, because for all the devices we have owned over the years, this is only the second one I've managed to damage a screen.
