NaNoWriMo update: chapter 16 posted

After reworking the plot outline, not in terms of what happens, but in terms of how many chapters it covers, I have arrived at a total of 17 chapters. The word count is at 46375, so with one chapter to go, I am bang on target to have a finished rough draft that covers the story as a whole in just about exactly 50K. This is easily the weirdest writing process I've ever attempted and the most fun. I'll know when I come back to it in a few days or weeks after I take a break if it was actually at all worthwhile, to me if not anyone else.

Chapter 15 is The Action Chapter, to the extent the book has one. Which it doesn't really.
