walkitoutYesterday, I drove out to Lynn. It looked every so slightly familiar, altho I don't know if that's because I've actually been out there maybe a decade ago, or it just has that New England look to it. I was out to the Diamond District to visit some friends. I used to work with him, and I went to their wedding (which was fabulous and fun) and while I had not seen them for way too many years, it was as if we had never lost that connection. They are so gracious and charming! And the very best of conversationalists. Also, a really good lunch that took all my food issues (and they are many!) into account. I hope to get to see them again soon (and their very sweet dog).
Today, R. got Google Print working on the printer, so printing now works from the Chromebook to the Brother laser printer. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be an option to set it to print duplex/both sides of the page? This is hard to believe, so maybe we just haven't found it yet. But it is pretty keen having a laser printer that you can print to from mobile devices (phone, tablet), Chromebook, Macbook Air, etc.
Alas, T. woke up sick today. Nasty cough and, for him, lethargic (in anyone else, still highly energetic). R. gave him some ibuprofen to bring the fever down a bit, and he got so rambunctious that I suggested not giving him any more unless he asked. Sure enough, as it wore off, he got a lot quieter and warmer. So no trip to the open gym at gymnastics today after all, and probably he won't be going to the horse tomorrow, either.
Weirdly warm and wet outside and it looks like that will continue for a while. Surely it isn't spring already.
