We're Good -- In case you were wondering
Oct. 30th, 2012 10:24 pmWe didn't lose power (well, for like 10 seconds). We had no flooding. The kids go back to school tomorrow. Our block has power -- we'll probably even get to take the kids Trick or Treating tomorrow evening, unlike last year when Snowtober delayed it and we had a conflict.
A variety of people have asked, so I thought I would just say: don't worry about us.
Also: my cousin in Springfield and family, my sister in Virginia and her family are all good, and didn't lose power either. A lot of people got hammered by this thing. We weren't among them.
It occurs to me I also have a sister in NJ -- but she doesn't talk to me, so I have no idea what's going on there. R. can update you on his side if he is interested in doing so.

Date: 2012-10-31 12:16 pm (UTC)T. & J. had a tree fall on their house and power.
Their school district does not have school for a 3rd day.
Seem like they got hit hard for being so far inland,
but their town is a ridge and has/had lots of trees.
No idea about my brother, but I think that I would have heard bad news.
