Okay, Yes, They Are Freeloaders

walkitoutA certain person who is very important to me has been arguing vehemently for a while that libertarians are freeloaders. He's willing to concede maybe not all of them, but in general. I tend to feel that this is an unfair characterization but have been slowly coming around to his perspective. A recent incident between a Democratic activist and Rob Woodall pushed me over the edge. In response to Johnson's question regarding why Woodall is using government paid for health care through his job instead of going on the open market and getting his own, Woodall says: "It’s because it’s free. It’s because it’s free. The same reason I went out to Walgreens and bought Activon when I don’t have any arthritis pain. Because it’s free. Folks, if you give people things for free, don’t blame them for taking them."
That's _really_ close to a lot of definitions of "freeloading".
