revenge of February vacation week

Due to a snow storm this morning, school was delayed, for us until 12:30. Also, B. now has the norowhatsis that A. and I had last week.

*sigh*

In better news, the lateral file with two locking drawers and hutch that I ordered a few months ago has arrived and I can now lock up a whole bunch of stuff that it was really annoying me having the kids rummaging around in. I may have overcompensated slightly buying this piece of furniture. I was so concerned about having home office-type stuff in the living room, that I got something that is nicer than most of the other things in the living room.

I am _not_ upgrading the couches until the kids are older, however.

Been meaning to ask, where did you order this furniture from? We are decommissioning our study so it can become Nick's room, so our file cabinet will probably end up in the living room.

I've forgotten the makers name, but the store is Circle Furniture, which I luuuurrrvvve. It's a local chain.

When I was looking online, there were a lot of mail-order options that were two drawer lateral files with or without hutches on top -- it seems to be sort of a genre. If you have a favorite furniture store in Seattle, you could try them. Ikea has some.
