I does seem a _tad_ mean to blame it all on China, however. The US has consciously pursued a strong currency policy since Reagan, as a way to buy off the workers with cheap goods to make up for the increasing sketchiness and general crapitude of their jobs. Gosh, that sounds familiar. Where did I hear about that happening before...
