walkitoutI’m not behind for any good reason. I’ve just been enjoying reading Linzi Day’s Gretna Green / Midlife Recorder series.
I got two walks again today, one with husband and one with M. Yay!
I got a text and an email from FedEx asking for the duty / tariff / wtf for something that was delivered early last December. Is this for real? Yes, yes it is, altho it took a while to figure out for sure that it was for real. I actually had been wondering when that thing arrived why I hadn’t had to pay duty on it already, because the other rugs shipped via DHL, and they had charged me promptly. Go figure!
I’m in the middle of _Seeing Red in Gretna Green_ by Linzi Day. It’s a moderately enjoyable series so far, altho I’m not 100% certain I trust this author completely. But a sentient house is generally a good time, and the Gateway itself is also pretty cool, as is the McKnight gift. I was really worried going into the execution event of John Fergusson, but it was handled in a really interesting and insightful way which is not something one can generally say about this kind of scene in any fiction ever.
