Housework and a walk
Aug. 23rd, 2025 04:48 pmI walked with M.
I did two loads of laundry.
I wrote three checks. One was for $1.07, and has something to do with R.’s aunt C.’s pharmacy while at HomeCare. Given all the stamps to send that bill around, possibly multiple places judging by the envelope, that’s an accounts receivable department that has no idea how to do its job. The other one was for the folks doing our attic room project (painting is done, and R. says it looks good, but I haven’t made it up there yet).
Sourdough is thawed and been fed.
I made two loaves of zucchini bread and coleslawI cleaned the fridge. I made A. breakfast. I had oatmeal for my breakfast, and zucchini bread, coleslaw and an orange for lunch. Today’s tea and cranberry juice yesterday are helping with the water retention from the flight, and the very salty food.
I’ve started the catch-up blogging process, but it’s clearly going to take me a while to finish that, especially if I do anything in terms of reconstructing the panels I attended. I did so much while I was at WorldCon.
Cocktail zoom has been rescheduled to tomorrow, because of many people having schedule conflicts.
I turned off vacation hold on FB marketplace, and someone has already picked up something. Woot! I haven’t listed anything new — just turning it back on and hitting renew was enough apparently. There isn’t much listed and it’s all pretty old and not worth much.
ETA: I logged into the Montreal WorldCon membership portal using my email and it’s all set up over there. It’s lovely when things Just Work.
