walkitoutI had a meeting that was supposedly about bathroom “specialties” but actually was a slide-by-slide What Haven’t We Dealt With Yet. So that was good.
I got a text from a nibling about colors for the other nibling’s room. Yay! First nibling got her wisdom teeth out. Fingers crossed for a trouble-free recovery.
I walked with M. I walked later with R.
I posted a collective suffering. Everyone just is feeling miserable and doesn’t seem to want to either be talked out of it or ignore it. If they want to suffer, I’ll host that, I guess.
Rorschach shared a bunch of explainers about Why Manufacturing Can’t Return to the United States, or at least won’t bring many jobs with it. *shrug* Look, the tariffs really feel like a protection racket. Nice economy you got there. It’d be a shame if anything happened to it. It all feels very pay me to keep having your nice life of I’ll hurt you. I don’t really get why anyone treats it like anything else. Even those in favor of the person responsible keep saying take him seriously but not literally.
I emailed A.’s school because I noticed a change in her schedule that conflicts with future travel plans but it looks like it’ll all get squared away easily.
