Lots of driving on Tuesday

walkitoutI got up a little before 9, because someone was going to come pick up the steel four drawer filing cabinet. And they showed up! Woot! Someone who looked like they would have worked for DEC back in the day, but never did — they worked for Honeywell, tho. LOL. Very nice, deliberate gentleman, a pleasure to meet him.
I drove out to Florence, and brought my lunch. I met the fire chief. I walked around and signed off on some more ductwork decisions. I ate my lunch and shared my blondies. J. and I went to tandem bagel and I had a coffee. Then we spent some time over at Salmon Studios, which was a delight. R. drove A. to and from, and fed her breakfast. We got her dinner when he brought her home, then R. and I went to West Village tavern. We saw B., and got hugs and she’ll say hi to D. for us, which is delightful. I had one drink and it was powerful. I had the pork dumplings and the chips and guac.
I’m now trying to figure out where I want window / door sensors in the new house. Ugh. So many large windows. I have to come up with some kind of rule for how high above grade = I don’t care, and how small = I don’t care, and then sensors for everything else, I guess? Shit I normally do not give a fuck about, but apparently I’ve decided to care about.
