I had three, adult-sized scooters: 2 go-peds (one red, one pink) and one xootr. T. declaimed any ongoing interest in the red one. I contemplated R.’s broken arm, and A.’s various scooter related falls, and decided we did not need to revisit that chapter of their lives. I listed the go-peds and someone picked them up this afternoon. I wish the scooters a very enjoyable future bringing delight to many and hopefully no broken anything.
I had interest in the swim fins, but it was too far, so, no. We’ll see.
Great online meeting with the metal artist. Good back-and-forth with C. at the architect, who is doing the rendering of the siding selections. He had the sense to ask detailed questions and I got back to him promptly so hopefully he’ll hand something back to us by Friday end-of-day.
I decided to go with the Onyx+ wall solution for the pool room, but now I’m not doing all those towel racks, because that many wall penetrations is a bad idea, especially if there is a future desire to change them. I marked the slide, told people, and am now looking at floor-to-ceiling ladder racks, wall-leaning ladder racks, and free-standing racks. I’m sure I’ll come up with something I wind up liking better than the original idea anyway.
Piano lessons happened (second to last with F., bittersweet). I cooked bolognese with a sausage and some ground lamb. I cooked the parsnips longer, and used fennel instead of bell pepper and celery. It turned out really nice. I also chopped things finer.
