R. went out last night and came home seeing cars that hadn’t made it all the way home. He says he didn’t have any trouble, and I didn’t have any trouble falling asleep before he got home so apparently I had some trust in how that was going to go, too. He is currently working on the back deck. It’s quite icy and gross as snow goes.

I made crepes for A. this morning. I offered yesterday, but she had cake for breakfast instead.

The bump on my face did not wake me up during the night; I was careful to sleep on the other side. The hot compresses yesterday helped a lot. It’s quite angry looking today, but no longer as painful or stretched feeling. I’m stilling calling the doctor on Monday morning, tho, just no longer thinking I might need to go back to urgent care or something.

ETA:

I went down to the basement to count boxes of LPs (there are 7) to work on storage / display in the future music room (I’m still avoiding thinking about the media crates full of CDs). And while I was counting boxes of LPs, I found a box of my DVDs. I’d been looking for these DVDs on and off for a while and eventually concluded that I must have given them away. But nope. They were in a box, with a label, written by R. which is presumably why it fell out of my brain. That’s fine. They are all listed on FB Marketplace now.

Oh, and I ordered Flex greens and tulip shares for spring. Should be fun!

ETAYA:

In the event, I had R. drive me to the ER, where they did some bedside imaging and said, yep, a cyst and yep infected and had me take a ceflex and gave me a scrip for more and told me to come back if it wasn’t better in a day or two.
