Monday is a bit warmer
Jan. 13th, 2025 10:40 pmI walked with M.
I made granola.
I read “Dark Horse” by Michelle Diener on kindleunlimited. It was a lot of fun, especially the parts where Rose exploits the fact she’s in a lower-gravity-for-her environment. There was some real resemblance to Jenny Schwartz’ books (AI character who is emotionally connected to the heroine, creating interesting three-way tension with the hero and heroine, but it is managed rather than Having to Choose) but Diener beats her heroine up more. Lots of the same strong-empathy vibe going on. I’ll probably read the rest of the series. They feel very Restoree-adjacent, which I am absolutely here for, altho once you find out who really kidnapped Rose, it feels much more complicated.
The loog piano arrived, but it isn’t working quite right with duo, but that might be because it wasn’t charged so I’m working on that piece now. It’s a lovely piano.
