Sunday: trying a different show

walkitoutYesterday, A. and I watched a couple episodes of The Acolyte. We liked it, but then we took a break and A. read some stuff online and said we might want to not watch more episodes because of how the season wraps up. So.
Today, I remembered that there’s a second season of Monsters at Work, so we’re giving that a try. It is more fun watching TV with her, now that we just stop and I explain all the weird references AND the complicated social interactions. Explaining the complicated social interactions is probably the most valuable part of this entire exercise, and now that I’m leaning into it, it does not irritate me the way that it used to.
Also, it’s fun pausing to notice details like lamps and doors and so forth, since we’re doing all this house planning.
