April Fool’s Day

walkitoutI think the best April Fool’s joke today was a somewhat insidious Roll for Sandwich, in which Jake pretends he rolls all “none” except for cheese, and then he gives it a really high rating anyway. I really believed it for a while!
I walked with M.
I had a really nice book group discussion, and we picked a book for next month. Very, very enjoyable.
I had chicken wings and tots for dinner. R. cooked wings and I kinda lost my shit when I came down after book group, started cleaning up all the pans from that (air fryer in the oven), and he’s put the bowl and the scrapers in the dishwasher _and not run it_, even tho there had been plenty of time when I was up in book group to do so. And when I was like, you can’t do that — leave this stack of dirty pans, remove all the cleaning equipment to the dishwasher and then not run the dishwasher and then when I say something about it just go, well, they were dirty, if you take them out clean them. This is ridiculous.
I got everything out and hand washed and then used them and made him dry everything and put it away. I mean, come on. Then I ran the dishwasher and went back up stairs. All I freaking wanted was a drink.
