I walked with M. We are doing indoor visits again. I’m still coughing, but it’s been so long since I’ve had a fever it’s just hard to really believe I’m still contagious. Hopefully this is a correct conclusion.

I did the three mile loop with R. I’m really tired at the end of it. But the cranberry juice seems to be genuinely helping with the joint pain. I’m right on the fence about what’s going on there. On the one hand, cranberry juice helps with retained fluid (I also had fairly tight, knee high socks on; they aren’t officially compression stockings, but they are on the lighter end of that range). On the other hand, cranberry juice contains salicytes, so the joint pain relief could be basically the same as taking a baby aspirin (or whatever — I’m very unclear on the relative amounts). Absorption is probably better with the cranberry juice? I’m not planning on stopping the cranberry juice. For one thing, the pain relief seems to have much better sustain vs. aspirin.

I had a nice zoom with I. We’re planning an August Quebec trip. She’ll fly out with L. A., R. and I will drive up and we’ll overlap for parts but not all of the trip. It should be fun. It’ll be great to _finally_ get to do the trip (or a close approximation of it) that we planned four years ago.
