walkitoutR. and T. had virtual piano lessons. Because T.’s midweek virtual piano lesson was moved to Monday, A. will have hers then. She’s been a little under the weather lately, complaining about shoulder pain that is actually under her arm and almost certainly lymph node related. Now it’s her jaw (same side).
She went to therapy, and we talked about travel. That was really interesting; I have a better sense of what bothers her about crowds now than I used to. The therapist asked really useful questions.
I’ve been trying to plan a summer trip, and thinking about Canada. I was looking at cruises, but today I looked at rail. In the end, I think I’m just going to try to re-set up the trip I had to cancel. It’s a driving trip, but it’s really well put together and I think we’ll have a good time. HAL Volendam does a nice Canada cruise from Boston to Montreal, and Via Ocean is a great sleeper car experience from Montreal to Halifax, but they both pass Rimouski and Trois Pistoles from a distance and in the case of the train, at 2 in the morning. Unhelpful. if we drive, we can spend as much time as we like, and when I planned this for 2020, I found all kinds of great museums and activities and restaurants and wonderful hotels.
I’m also looking at stuff for a visit to NYC with Priestess. JFK’s TWA hotel looks _amazing_.
The bag I ordered to sit on top of my spinner and be my personal item (mostly there to contain the Ahsoka backpack and the Universal Orlando mini satchel) arrived. It’s just like A.’s but a darker purple and it works perfectly and is gorgeous. I showed A., along with the Ahsoka cardigan and she commented that the only way it could be better would be if it was the Ahsoka gold/orange. I took a look around again for an orange back, and found the Rydir stretchy strap thing, and ordered one. I have no idea what I’ll think of this in person, but it is a really interesting idea.
