Tuesday is better than Monday

walkitoutMonday was really bad. Apparently last Friday was the earliest sunset of the year, and I know that some of what I was hearing about was stuff going on with people over the weekend. I wonder how much of yesterday’s stuff — other than credit card adjacent stuff — was just straight up it got dark early and that is a big problem for a lot of people.
Anyway. Etsy gift cards are working. Day care is showing zero balance. Other financial stuff seems fine. This is a _much_ better day, even tho it started with participating in a meeting about the house we are planning.
In general, things seem to be working okay for me and I am so happy about that. I made waffles, because A. ate the last one this morning. I did a little bit more of the holiday gifting (the aforementioned gift cards, and another item), and also sent another message inquiring about what kiddos want for the holidays from their parents.
I hope everyone else is doing okay out there; apparently, this early dark thing is hard. For me, early dark is better than stabby sunshine, but I’m weird.
