Sunday: wrapping up decluttering

walkitoutI got really tired yesterday, so I did not move everything that we took out of T.’s room to its final destination. That’s mostly done, other than all the boxes in the garage that need to go to Savers for donation.
I actually managed to sort through a bunch of the paper stacked on my desk. I also hung the two intentionally pretentious framed frames in the second floor hall, since I’d taken down the framed puzzles. I had to shuffle things a little, and I took down the two China landscape photographs, but they are much smaller than what went up, so at least there is less sitting on the floor in my office.
I ran Eufy in the two upstairs bathrooms and vacuumed the rugs. I cleaned the toilets in those bathrooms. I’m doing towel laundry. I ran and emptied the dishwasher. R. took A. to the Beede center to go swimming, so I had the house to myself for an hour or so. She’s doing a portal playdate now, while R. goes for an IRL bike ride.
I poked around at OpenTable and similar making reservations for a trip in a few months. I was not optimistic I’d be able to make _any_ reservations. I was, in the event, able to get 3 lunch reservations where I wanted them, and I have the crucial 2 big dinner reservations that are complicated by holiday dates. I’m feeling pretty optimistic about when the next window opens for making more reservations. This particular project was absolutely not on the list of things to do today, because I thought it would be too early, but I am really happy to have made some progress here. Hilariously, two of those reservations are for “Irish pub” type restaurants. That’ll hit different this trip, having been to Dublin.
