Decluttering the tea shelf

walkitoutI threw out a Folgers decaf singles that was at least several years old; I think MIL left it here pre-pandemic, but I’m not sure.
I consolidated the Twinings oolong bags into the random tea bag container.
I tossed the rest of the east frisian into the compost bin and recycled the metal container.
I took the Vosges Aztec Elixir that was a gift from years ago, and which I made chocolate muffins using in 2022, and am making another batch of muffins with the rest of it. I modded the recipe slightly, so that I could use up the rest of the package, and I also used the chocolate oat milk for the liquid, so I didn’t bother to add any additional sugar, since there is sugar in both of those ingredients.
So much easier to get what I want out of the tea shelf! Yay!
Earlier today, I put away the Oxo Good Grips Medium Cookie Scoop that I finally ordered. But there was not much space in the drawer so I pulled out the really big lemon juicer which is primarily a cocktail device anyway, and I put it over in the bar. While I was there, I pulled out the crystal and silver “coasters” (originally sold as ash trays), and put them in a bag to be donated. I have other, much better coasters. I also pulled out the single/few cube ice crusher and put it in the bag for donation, since the best ice crusher is the larger cloth bag plus wooden mallet. All other ice crushers are useless.
Nice cascading positive effects from minor decluttering _and_ chocolate muffins! Yum!
