Monday: half day, walks

walkitoutI walked over to pick up A. It was a half day today, and it was in the 60s and clear. Very nice! I walked with M. I also did the 3 mile loop. I chatted with my sister.
Later, I chatted with Priestess.
Earlier, I went to Acton Memorial and looked at cookbooks. That was enlightening; I haven’t sat in the stacks and paged through a bunch of books on a topic in a while. I checked out the 10th anniversary edition of Veganomicon. I also took a picture of a pecan pie that involves sweet potato, and noted down some titles to share with Priestess, because one of them was a Vegan Meal Prep book that seemed interesting.
I got through all the legendary on Dutch Duolingo. I feel somewhat at a loss. I mean, obviously, I just went back to working on Spanish. I’m thinking about signing up to do the Dutch/German Duolingo, but I think I’ll work on other things for a bit first.
